Synura uvella Ehrenberg 1835 emend. Korshikov 1929
Synura uvella: Association of many free-swimming colonies. This chrysophyte alga has probably been confused with other Synura species very often. This is because the scales that cover the cells and which are essential for species identification can not always be reliably detected. On this website, the secure first proof of Synura uvella in the waters of the EN region was only possible in May 2011(1)
