Plationus patulus patulus, ventral view. 4 ventral and 6 dorsal spines at the anterior part of the lorica. At the base of the spines of the posterior margin of the lorica the lateral antennae are recocognizable.
Brachionus patulus patulus; focal plane on the ventral anterior part of the lorica. the foot opening is asymmetrical with one long and one short spine. Foot with two long toes. Cerebral eyespot.
